Data Usage & Privacy Overview

Last Updated: August 12, 2025

How is user data handled when using LeIA?

  • Personal data: We collect identifiers, such as your name and email address, when you sign up.

  • AI requests: By default, zero data retention (ZDR) is enabled when generating a response for all user queries. We will never train any agent on any of your data without permission. ZDR may not apply when doing a web search, as third-party websites may store some information.

    • OpenAI: We have zero data retention with OpenAI

    • Google Cloud Vertex API: We have zero data retention with Vertex

  • Uploaded context: When a user uploads a document on LeIA, document chunks are stored on the Oid Labs server and databases to provide future context. All information about the data is removed when the document is deleted, including any usage in the history.

  • Feedback loop: While using LeIA, you may provide feedback and suggestions, including ratings(upvote/downvote), to improve a response to an input query. We may store such feedback to improve future responses for each user. However, when a conversation is deleted, that feedback history is also removed.

  • Infrastructure Security:

    • Our systems may store some information related to telemetry and system usage data. We use this data to evaluate and improve the AI features and user experience.

    • Our infrastructure is hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). All of our GCP servers are deployed in US.

Other notes

  • We never collect: Oid Labs does not knowingly collect sensitive or special category personal information, such as genetic data, biometric data to uniquely identify a person, health information, or religious information. Additionally, Oid Labs does not knowingly collect information from or direct any of our Services or content to children under the age of 18. If we learn or have reason to suspect that a user is under the age of 18, we will investigate and, if appropriate, delete the personal data and/or the account.

  • Any information and metadata that is temporarily stored on our server is isolated to each user's storage. Meaning any data upload or response generation is not shared across users.

We may update data usage and privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will publish an updated version and effective date at the top of this page, unless another type of notice is legally required. Your continued use of this site and product after any change in this Privacy Policy will constitute your acceptance of such change.
